Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about online translation quotes, prices, delivery, file sharing and translation services.
Online enquiries and our working process
01How can I get a translation quote online?+
Choose the service and language pair, then share the document scope, target date and contact details. Uploading a file is optional. Your enquiry is recorded; the price and delivery plan are confirmed after the scope has been reviewed.
02How is the translation price calculated?+
The price depends on the source and target languages, text length, specialist subject, file format, turnaround, and any certification or layout work required. A firm price and delivery date are confirmed after review.
03Which languages can I enquire about?+
You can submit enquiries involving Turkish, English, German, French, Russian and Arabic. Having a website in a language does not mean every document type or language pair is available. We confirm availability and timing for each enquiry.
04Can I start without uploading a document?+
Yes. Tell us the document type, approximate length and language pair. For unpublished patents in particular, you can discuss confidentiality and file sharing arrangements first.
05Can I request an urgent delivery date?+
Yes. Enter your target date in the form. This records your request; the final schedule is confirmed after we review the scope and availability.
06Can the whole process take place online?+
You can start your enquiry and scope review online. If originals, handwritten signatures or notarisation are required, we agree the delivery arrangements separately.
Patent translation
01What do you need for a patent translation quote?+
Tell us which specifications, claims, abstracts and figure descriptions need translating, the target language, intended use and target date. Previous translations and terminology lists also help us assess consistency.
02Do you manage official filing deadlines?+
We plan the translation around the delivery date you provide. The applicant or authorised patent attorney should verify official filing deadlines and legal procedures.
03Can we discuss confidentiality before I share an invention?+
Yes. Submit an enquiry without uploading a file and mention whether you need a confidentiality agreement. Agree the confidentiality arrangements before sharing an unpublished invention.
Technical translation
01Does it matter whether my file is a PDF or an editable document?+
Editable source files can make it easier to preserve tables, headings and layout. Scanned PDFs may require text recognition and additional layout work. We confirm the scope after reviewing the files.
02Can you use our company terminology list?+
Mention any terminology lists or previous translations in your enquiry. We agree which references to use and how terminology will be approved before work begins.
03Can text within technical drawings be translated?+
Annotations and labels can be considered as part of the scope. Tell us the source file format and whether you need it edited; the working plan depends on the format.
Sworn translation
01Are sworn translation and notarisation the same thing?+
No. A sworn translation is signed by the translator. Notarisation is a separate procedure. Ask the institution receiving your document which form of certification it requires.
02Does every document need an apostille?+
The need for an apostille depends on the document type, the issuing and receiving countries, and the institution receiving it. Check current requirements with the competent authority; an apostille is separate from translation.
03Do I need to send the original document?+
For an initial review, tell us the document type and whether you have a legible copy. The need for an original or a physical copy is clarified according to the procedure and institution’s requirements.
Your next step,
a well-planned translation.
Tell us about your document and what you need it for. We’ll work out the scope together.
